Applications for apartments at Goldberg B’nai B’rith Towers can be:
- Picked up in the office Monday-Friday between 9:00am and 11:30am and 1:00pm and4:30pm.
- Send a self addressed envelope requesting an application to 10909 Fondren Rd., Houston, Texas 77096.
- Download application packet which includes a letter, application, Declaration of Section 214, Race & Ethnic Data, HUD 9887A Packet, Tenant Selection Plan.
All application documents must be completed before an applicant will be placed on the wait list, which is kept by date and time of application. Currently the wait list is approximately one (1) year.
To qualify for the Towers, applicant must be:
- 62 and need the features of an architecturally design unit.
- Meet income guidelines set by the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD)
- Meet Tenant Selection Plan
Rent is based on 30% of adjusted income. Income includes all income from wages, social security and all earnings from assets like savings, investments, property and business. Adjustments are made for out of pocket medical expenses not reimbursed by Medicare/Medicaid or supplemental insurance.
